Sugaray Rayford

Organizers of the annual Trinidaddio Blues Fest say that headliner Sugaray Rayford’s career has skyrocketed the artist to the top of the soul and blues vocalist performer’s list. The Blues Fest is slated for Saturday, August 24 at Central Park.

On Thursday, May 2, the Trinidaddio Blues Fest organizers announced their all-star lineup. The music festival, which is scheduled for Saturday, August 24, will feature new and returning popular favorites from the soul and blues  world.

Headlining this year is The Sugaray Rayford Band. Other performers include: Rick Estrin & the Nightcats, Jimmy Thackeryhas, Rockwell Avenue Blues Band, Keeshea Pratt Band, TeleDonna and the Los Albuquerque Blues Connection.

Local blues prodigy Zakk DeBono will also be performing with his band Broken Circle. Local guitarist Jaquie Gipson will also be performing this year.

According to Trinidaddio Blues Fest,  Sugaray Rayford is a 2018 and 2019 BB King Blues Entertainer of the Year Nominee.

“Sugaray has starred in Tony Award nominated stage plays, fronted the highly acclaimed West coast blues band The Mannish Boys, and has seen his solo career skyrocket as one of the premier soul/blues vocalists and performers in the world today,” said a release from the festival.
