Combining live comedy, bicycling and train travel, the Southwest Chief Bicycle & Comedy Festival is looking to provide an unforgettable experience for audience members in Colorado, Chicago, Los Angeles, New Mexico and dozens of train communities that sit along Amtrak’s Southwest Chief Passenger Rail Line.
The Southwest Chief Bicycle & Comedy Festival is looking to fill a train car in Chicago and a train car in Los Angeles with comedians and performers, along with comedy lovers, bicyclists and train enthusiasts for an overnight train journey across state lines for a comedy and bicycling blowout in Trinidad.

Once in Trinidad, all festival bound passengers will meet up with dozens of comedians and hundreds of audience members from Denver, Albuquerque, and many more Southwest communities for a weekend of laughs that ends Sunday May 5, 2019.
Locally, the Southwest Chief Bicycle & Comedy Festival will be offering comedy experiences at several bars, theaters and other venues throughout town including; the Southern Colorado Repertory Theatre, Brix Sports Bar, Las Animas Grill, Moose’s Martini Bar & Social Club, Jujo’s Dancehall, Hot Yoga on Main and more.
Family friendly comedy and activities will be available free of charge, all day Saturday at the Carnegie Public Library.
