The Corazon de Trinidad Historic Main Street Board and the City of Trinidad is preparing for the holiday season by promoting downtown businesses and presenting the “Deck the Halls business spirit decorating competition.”

The annual Trinidad shop local holiday promotion campaign is designed to assist retail merchants, restaurants, non-profits, service groups and churches through the service of promoting any events, shopping in-store or online and any fun happenings over the holiday season in Trinidad-area via print, radio, and the Historic Trinidad Main Street Board Facebook page.

The campaign will run from Nov. 9 to Jan. 1, 2021. The board is asking businesses, or organizations, that would like to be included in the campaign, to contact committee member Kim Schultz at 719-859-1008 kimberlyschultz108@gmail.com.

Also the Main Street Board and city are presenting the “Deck the Halls Business Spirit Decorating Competition” and six prizes of $1,000.

Said the board, “This holiday season the downtown businesses that enter the ‘Deck the Halls’ decorating contest will be competing for six prizes of $1,000. Also, all who vote on the decorated business on the Trinidad Historic Main Street Facebook page will be entered into a drawing for more prizes.”
