Joshua Apodaca, a graduating senior at Trinidad High School, has finished his high school career with a perfect attendance record for 7 straight years, from sixth grade through his senior year.
“All the staff (at THS) want to thank him for his respect, help, and wiliness to always strive to be better as a student,” said Career and Technical Education Director Louise Terry. “We have enjoyed him in class and wish him years of a successful future.
Josh will be successful in life as he has been as a student because of his dedication, work ethic and determination to always gain knowledge and become the best student he can be.”
Apodaca is attending Trinidad State to become an automotive technician. Through his high school career, Apodaca has completed auto mechanics classes at Trinidad State for the past four years.
Apodaca is the son of David Vasquez and the grandson of Gabe and Bernadette Vasquez.
“He and his grandfather have a passion for the restoration of antique trucks, spending many hours together looking for restoration parts. It is important to acknowledge and thank his family for their unending support. Because of his dedication, strong work ethic, and desire to be better, Josh will be successful in life,” said Terry. “We want to acknowledge his consistent hard work for all the years he attended Trinidad School District No. 1.”
