Accident stops traffic on I-25 Tuesday evening

On Tuesday evening, Oct. 29, at approximately 5:30 p.m. the Colorado State Patrol, the Trinidad Ambulance District and the Fisher’s Peak Fire Dept. responded to a recreational vehicle and private passenger vehicle collision south of Trinidad in the southbound lane of I-25 near Exit 8 at Spring Creek. The highway was reopened to through traffic at 6 p.m. No injuries have been reported from the incident. Travelers are advised to use extreme caution during severe weather and hazardous road conditions.
