Auto accident

A BNSF work truck was parked and unoccupied in front of a residence located at 1006 Robinson Ave, at approximately 12:44 p.m. on Friday, July 26 when it was struck by this red vehicle driven by a 16 year-old driver who wasn't wearing a seatbelt, according to Trinidad Ambulance District (TAD) Director Dan Moynihan. The driver was transported to Mt. San Rafael Hospital, and told authorities at the time that he was driving approximately 35 miles-per-hour at the time of the accident. The two TAD employees and one Trinidad Police Department (TPD) officer seen here were just coming out of a training session at the TAD building when they heard the sound of the crash and  raced to the scene.
