City of Trinidad celebrated by Colorado Lottery for use of funds

On Friday, August 2, The City of Trinidad, The Trust for Public Land and The Nature Conservancy received the 2019 Starburst Award from Colorado Lottery for the three organization’s work and use of lottery funds in securing the Crazy French Ranch for public use. The organization is currently in the process of determining how best to use the the property as an economic driver for the area. The award ceremony was held at at Trinidad History Museum before a crowd of local public officials and residents who came out to celebrate the recognition.
