The lasting sign of promise and hope

A beautiful rainbow appeared over Fisher’s Peak after a thunderstorm on Sunday, Aug. 30 and was captured by local photographer and Chronicle-News friend Kylie Ketterman. Perhaps it was set in an effort to remind us of the Creator’s words and encourage a little hope for all of us during this trying time in the world. “Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.” (Genesis 9:17)
