Trinidad fireworks display wraps up 4th

After a hearty thunderstorm brought on a beautiful, cool July 4 evening, the City of Trinidad wrapped up the night with a grand fireworks display at Central Park. Although the park was closed due to COVID-19 restrictions, it didn’t seem to spoil the All-American event in any way. Spectators gathered at various viewing points all over town to watch and cheer as the thrilling display went off without a hitch. Photographers Paul Ackerman shot the photo, top left, from his vantage point east of I-25, while Rich Alford took the remaining photos from several locations around town.
