On Friday, Nov. 15, Bar NI Ranch hosted its annual fall grant cycle luncheon. There, through the Bar NI Ranch Community Service Fund, $36,897 in grants was handed out to 15 area organizations.

Said Bar NI Ranch Local Advisory Committee member and host Linda Perry, “Each time we have a grant cycle I think about the characteristics of the grant cycle. This cycle I thought of the edges. From riparian zone invasive species eradication to a father/daughter dance, from quilting, to preserving the history of a lost community, from words read early in life, to being a queen for a day — it was a grant cycle with a lot of different directions and many miles in between — from Branson to Hoehne to Trinidad. The projects touch upon our grant focus areas: youth, education, the environment, health and human services, civic and public benefit.
