Dear Editor,

The following are a few statistics from Since Donald Trump took the Oath of Office:

— The economy added 7 million-plus jobs and the unemployment rate dropped to the lowest level in nearly 50 years.

— Economic growth is up around two percent.

— Median household income rose 2.3 percent. Average weekly paychecks rose 2.8 percent. The poverty rate and food stamp rolls declined.

— Stock prices rose: The S&P index is up 29.8 percent. Single-family home prices rose nearly 23 percent, hitting a record level in June of 2019.

— The number of murders dropped 6.9 percent.

— U.S.-Mexico border apprehensions went up 92.5 percent.

— Federal regulatory restrictions went down .26 percent.

— Food stamp recipients went down 15.1 percent.

— 482,000 new manufacturing jobs.

— U.S. crude oil production went up 33.6 percent.

— Handgun production went down 23 percent.

— The Consumer Price Index went up 5.2 percent.

President Trump is very pro worker and very pro USA, as evidenced by these numbers. People should look at the facts and not the untrue diatribes of the left. It’s been stated that, “When the debate is lost, slander becomes the tool of the loser.”

The vast majority of people on the left who I talk to about the president, or anyone who supports him, automatically resort to ad hominem attacks. Ad hominem attacks are light on critical analysis of the position and heavy on criticism of the person, i.e. name-calling. The president is not a misogynist, he’s not a racist and he’s not a tyrant.

How can anyone look at the economic state of the country and security of our country and be upset? If you look at the numbers, he’s done more for this country than anyone in recent history. The left had eight years of Obama and the house, what did they do for this country? Nothing! Don’t you get it? You may not like some of the things he says, but if you want another four years of greatness for this country, vote Trump 2020.
