Nearly 80 years after a presidential order created incarceration camps on American soil to hold people of Japanese descent, the U.S. Senate unanimously passed legislation Monday night designating the site of Colorado’s Granada War Relocation Center – also known as Camp Amache – a national historic site.
Primero Secondary Students for January
Each month, Primero’s teachers, administration and staff select students from the various grade levels to recognize as Students of the Month. Primero’s Students of the Month are selected based on outstanding attendance, stellar grades and diligent work ethic. Both directions of I-25 at Exit 11 will be fully closed for a concrete bridge deck pour on March 1-2
Starting at 3 a.m. and lasting until approximately 10 p.m. on both March 1 and March 2, the Colorado Department of Transportation will implement full closures of both directions of Interstate 25 at Exit 11, south of Trinidad. The closure is necessary while crews perform a concrete deck pour on the new bridge structure.
School finance committee: Spend more on special ed, redefine ‘at-risk’
Colorado lawmakers will take up three bills this session recommended by a special committee charged with re-examining how Colorado funds its schools, including one to significantly increase special education funding.

Classic Tuna Casserole 2 (10.75 oz.) cans cream of mushroom soup 1 cup milk 2 cups frozen peas 2 (12 oz.) cans chunk light tuna in water, drained or solid white Albacore tuna in water, drained 4 cups cooked medium egg noodles 4 tablespoons dry bread crumbs 2 tablespoons butter, melted Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Stir soup and milk until smooth.

With our weather changing daily, from one end of the temperate zone to the other, and often with a little snow thrown in to make life grand, it’s sometimes hard to know quite exactly what we might want to dine on come evening.
