Combine the beans, tomatoes, basil, oregano, and red pepper in a large saucepan.
The Lenten season is now well underway. For many, it is a time of fasting and giving up indulgences, particularly rich food and drink and a time for sober contemplation of the direction that life is taking. Lent can be a time for healthy observation — a season to reassess the meaning of one’s life and focus on areas that might need some special reflection and perhaps change. A little self-contemplation is always a good endeavor for anyone.

Lee Ernest Apodaca, born February 13th 1949, passed away on March 9th, 2022 while in hospice care at his home in Trinidad, Colorado. He was 73 years old.
