Workforce Center hosts local annual Youth Rocks Job Fair

The Trinidad Workforce Center held the Youth Rocks Job Fair and Career Development Day at its location at 140 N. Commercial Street in Trinidad Thursday, April 7. The three-hour event saw at least 80 student participants from five area schools including, Goal Academy, Trinidad High School, Aguilar Jr./Sr. High School, Hoehne High School and Trinidad State College. Students had the time to talk with numerous local businesses and groups about job opportunities, including the City of Trinidad, Trinidad Lake State Park, Trinidad Aquatic Center, Las Animas Grille, The Café, Trinidad Inn Nursing Home and others. Edward Clarence Marquez, follower of the Way went to be with his Eternal Father on March 31, 2022. He is preceded in death by parents Tony and Stella and brother Ron. Claris survived brothers Tom; Rick (Charlotte); Chris (LucyAnn); sister Diane. Also by wife Odel, children and grandchildren: Clayton, (Dana), Sophia; Katherine, (Jeremy); Jamie (Joey), Chloe; Georgie Anne, CaeZaun. Sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Rosemary and Lisa; Penny; Valerie (Bill); David; Christopher (Jessica); Richard. Numerous cousins and friends.
