Art car fun highlights museum’s grand reopening weekend
The local art car museum has reopened its doors to the public after closing for a short time and has been met with excitement and support from the Trinidad community. Art Cartopia Museum, located at 2702 Freedom Road in Trinidad, held a grand reopening party Saturday, April 2, filled with food from Three Sisters Frybread, live music by Robbie and the Reckless, old-time tin photography by Tim Brown Photography, fun, fellowship and a wide assortment of art cars to peruse.

Cecil Coffman, age 60 passed away from a rare and aggressive cancer on March 28, 2022. He was born on June 19, 1961 to Cora (Moulder) and Jay Coffman of Sheridan Lake CO.

TSD1 seeks professional guidance in plans for district consolidation decision
After years of discussing consolidation of Trinidad School District No. 1 including numerous public meetings and votes to postpone the actual consolidation vote, the TSD1 Board of Education voted to hire a consolidation consulting firm to help make a decision.
