Plans shared with the public for the development of Fishers Peak State Park show that the state wants to use the majority of the park property to preserve wildlife and the natural environment. Colorado Parks and Wildlife and other project partners held a final open house for the public to view the FPSP master plan Monday, April 11 at Trinidad State College, during which over 100 locals and interested parties saw the latest ideas for the state’s newest state park.
