Hickenlooper, Bennet welcome nomination of Pueblo County Sheriff Kirk Taylor for District of Colorado’s U.S. Marshal position

WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Senators John Hickenlooper and Michael Bennet today welcomed President Joe Biden’s nomination of Pueblo County Sheriff Kirk Taylor to serve as U.S. Marshal for the District of Colorado. Hickenlooper and Bennet recommended Taylor for the position, which will require confirmation by the U.S. Senate.

Mayor calls for public forum to include city council, citizens in conversations on current issues

Trinidad Mayor Phil Rico has called for a public forum for Trinidad City Council members to hear and respond to concerns held by the public on various issues. Mayor Rico suggested the idea during council’s last regular meeting Tuesday, June 7 and received support from other members of council.
