DENVER — Colorado Parks and Wildlife is partnering with the Colorado Youth Corps Association (CYCA) to hire 41 weeks of service corps this summer to repair off-highway vehicle (OHV) trails impacted by increased visitation and wildfire damage.

Joe Ross, a brand new graduate from Trinidad High School and multi-sport athlete, said he sees his success at the 2022 Colorado High School Athletic Association Class 2A State Track & Field Championships as a big step for himself after overcoming numerous obstacles this season.

This Friday, June 3rd from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. is the season’s kickoff for the First Friday Art Walk adventures in downtown Trinidad. Local galleries, restaurants and other businesses will be open late. Live music will help provide the evening’s festive atmosphere. Tara Carr, with Paul Robison and Randy Welch, will be playing at Gallery Row, at 149 E. Main.
