Woman in custody after spraying crowd at Central Park firework show with mace

A woman is in custody after allegedly spraying a crowd at Trinidad’s annual Fourth of July fireworks show with mace. About 15 minutes into the fireworks show Monday night, a woman, identified as Korie Howlett (24) by Trinidad Police Department, reportedly sprayed pepper spray on people sitting in the Central Park Grandstand as the city shot off shell after shell for its Independence Day celebration.

She was raised in a large loving family with 10 brothers and sisters. She was a strong woman, often stubborn, but she was very protective of her family and friends.
