County commissioners see first draft of airport industrial park concept
The Las Animas County Commissioners received their first look at conceptual plans for an industrial park during a regular meeting Tuesday, July 19. Las Animas County recently contracted with Armstrong Consultants Inc., a civil engineering firm that has experience with airports, to create a conceptual plan for developing an industrial park at Perry Stokes Airport east of Trinidad.

Safe2TELL reports across Colorado decreased in June, when compared to May, according to the latest data released by the Colorado Attorney General’s Office. 450 reports were received in June, compared to the 1,839 reports received in May.
National Suicide, Crisis Lifeline, 988, launches in Colorado
As of July 16, Colorado and the rest of the United States are using the 988 dialing code, a new, easy-to-remember three-digit number for call (multiple languages), text or chat (English only) that connects people to the existing National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, where compassionate, accessible care and support is available for anyone experiencing mental health-related distress.
