Donna J Broughton, age 85, passed away at the Trinidad Inn Nursing Home on August 11, 2022. Funeral Memorial Services will be held Thursday, August 25, 2022, at 10 AM at the Comi Funeral Home Chapel. Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment are sending text message and email notifications to parents and guardians of nearly 8,400 children ages 0-4 years whose records in the Colorado Immunization Information System (CIIS) indicate their child/children may be overdue for one or more routine childhood vaccines. This includes diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis (DTaP), Haemophilus influenza, hepatitis A and B, measles, mumps, rubella (MMR), pneumococcal, polio, rotavirus, and varicella vaccines.

The mine, west of Trinidad, saw a 46% increase in its run of mine production (unprocessed coal) quarter-overquarter.
