Trinidad adjusts local electric rates after residents remain silent at public hearing

Electric customers within the City of Trinidad will see an increased cost on their electric bills after Trinidad City Council approved a rate adjustment. Trinidad City Council voted 7-0 Tuesday, after a public hearing during which no residents spoke, to approve an approximate 4.5% rate increase for electric utility customers.
