John Serna tragically passed away on October 9, 2022. John was born in Trinidad, Colorado, to Elizabeth and John Serna on June 6th, 1975. John was the most loving father to John, Jalissa, Marissa, and Maddie, a proud Raiders fan, and a hardworking businessman and owner of Extreme Custom Painting. He would often bribe his children and grandchildren to work for him with Chubbyʼs. During which, memories were made working together that they will forever cherish. He loved riding his motorcycle, visiting his Grandma and Aunt Mick in Trinidad and going on trips with his children. He was the best father to his children always making sure they were taken care of. John was proud of the life he worked so hard to build and his children will carry his knowledge and hardwork with them. John is survived by his mother, Elizabeth, two sisters Angel and Michelle, nieces Bubba, Diamond, and Lina May, nephews Jr, Jayden, and Baby H. He is also survived by his many Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and friends he held dear. John has joined internal life with his father, grandfather, cousins, and uncles. John will forever be in our hearts, and your children will always keep your memory alive, your honey boo, kooks, paco, and mad dog miss you dearly. Johnʼs celebration of life will take place on October 28, 2022, at 1 pm at Romeroʼs Funeral Home 4750 Tejon, Denver, CO 80211.
Once again, the gates of heaven are opening up for one more child. My son, Dustin Troy Maria, took flight on angelʼs wings for his journey to heaven on October 3rd, 2022.
