Colfax County decries medical contractor comments as ‘attempt to mislead the public’

Colfax County decried recent comments made by a medical service contractor at its detention center, related to ongoing financial fraud investigations, calling them an “attempt to mislead the public.” Colfax County issued a statement Oct. 28 claiming that statements made by the contractor, Roadrunner Health Services, LLC, were “not accurate.” RHS — which is part of two state-led investigations into former Colfax County Manager Mary Lou Kern’s alleged involvement with a reported overpayment to the contractor — issued statements to KRTN Enchanted Radio on Oct.
