Trinidad continues push for affordable workforce housing units, funds redevelopment for burned-out apartment

Trinidad approved two more housing development incentive applications that will see the addition of 13 workforce units within the city, including the restoration of an apartment that caught fire in 2020. Trinidad City Council voted 7-0 this month to approve an application that will add 12 additional apartment units to an existing apartment complex on Santa Fe Trail and a second application that will add one additional unit to the N.

Charles (Charlie) Garlutzo

Our beloved brother and long-time Trinidad resident, Charles (Charlie) Garlutzo went to his heavenly home Nov. 1st, 2022. He lived for 69 years in Trinidad Colorado, a community he loved and that loved him. He was born in Trinidad Colorado, May 1, 1953, to Michael Angelo Garlutzo and Josephine (Modica) Garlutzo. He attended Mt Carmel School from kindergarten to eighth grade where his deep-seated Christian Faith began and was nourished. He then attended and graduated from Trinidad High School.
