The cost of a Thanksgiving meal increased for the second year in a row, according to an informal survey conducted by Colorado Farm Bureau and the American Farm Bureau Federation. The national average cost of a Thanksgiving meal for ten guests jumped 20% last year to $64.05.

CDPHE to send text and email reminders to Coloradans 65 years and older about flu vaccines
The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment announced in early-November that it plans to text and email over 500,000 Coloradans urging them to receive a flu vaccine as flu, RSV and COVID cases impact hospital admission rates. CDPHE plans to text 517,000 Coloradans aged 65 and older whose records in the Colorado Immunization Information System indicate they may be due for an annual flu vaccine as state health officials work to increase flu vaccination statewide.
