Trinidad woman expects to take plea deal in arson case, next court appearance pushed to early-May to finalize paperwork
The woman who stands accused of setting fire to a Trinidad chiropractor’s office in a reported act of retaliation against her exboyfriend is expected to take a plea deal, although the finalization process saw a delay at the request of her defense. Sherry Abeyta, age 44, is expected to take a plea deal later this spring, according to her attorney, although the prosecution and defense did not have the paperwork for the court during her latest hearing.
