The Hoehne Lady Farmers improved to 10-7 overall and 6-2 in Class 2AA District play with a three set win over their neighbors from the north, Walsenburg (4-7, 1-5), by scores of 25-12, 25-15 and 25-20.In the first set the Lady Farmers got off to a fast start, with solid play at the net and with their serves.

It was a beautiful weekend as Trinidad welcomed home Trinidad High School alumni with a full slate of events including a parade, dance, coronation and football and volleyball games amid a beautiful and sunny fall weekend in southeastern Colorado.


Bearcats shut out Redhawks in 6-man football
Defense was the name of the game for the Branson/Kim Bearcat Football team for their annual homecoming game.The Bearcat “D” held the La Veta Redhawks to just 68 yards of total offense (52 yards passing, 16 yards rushing), in a 55-0 shutout and Colorado Class 1A 6-man Southwest League win.
