Facing an investigation by the DEA, Trinidad’s Hometown Pharmacy agrees to pay $250K over opioid violations following settlement
Last week, May 9, The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Colorado announced that the company that operates Hometown Pharmacy and Medical on Trinidad’s Main Street, COBigRed, had agreed to pay $250,000 to settle allegations after federal prosecutors accused the Trinidad pharmacy of repeatedly filling illegitimate prescriptions for opioids and other controlled substances, violating federal drug laws for over six years.
