On Tuesday, Sept. 16, the Trinidad City Council formally acknowledged the community contributions from one of its former council members, Anthony Mattie, who passed away in his Denver home on Aug. 29 at the age of 73, with a memorial resolution.
On Tuesday, Sept. 16, City Manager Tara Marshall announced the city’s financial report for this year’s second quarter, during the city’s regular meeting, revealing that although revenues were under budget for many of the city’s fund accounts, expenses were also under expended, which resulted in a net positive for many of the funds, with some exceptions.
