Lenore Mincic left this earth to be with our Lord on February 28, 2022 in Katy, Texas from complication due to diabetes. Lenore was born on March 26, 1938 to Rose ( R i c c a t o n e ) a n d S a m F a l s e t t o i n T r i n i d a d , Colorado. Lenore spent much of her younger life taking care of her ailing mom and her little brother Frank.
On June 11, 1960 she married Nick Joseph Mincic. The two lived in Trinidad until April of 2015 when they moved to Katy, Texas to live near their daughter. Lenore was a proud and wonderful mother to her son Michael Mincic and daughter Joan (Mincic) Ramser.
When Lenore entered the business world. She became employed by Pixie Discount where she began as a clerk and progressed to the Store Manager until the store closed. Lenore loved working with the public and running Pixie. After the closing of Pixie, Lenore worked various places. Prior to moving to Texas Lenore went to work for Mt. Carmel Wellness Center.
With natural care giver instinct Lenore took amazing care of her husband, through his many illnesses. Lenore always fed and cared for anyone that entered her home. She was an amazing cook and listener. She would purposely not finish her meal so she could share it with others. Grandma Nor as she was known to her grand and great grandchildren always made you feel loved and special with just a short conversation. She Loved her Family.
After Lenore moved to Katy. Texas she immediately made numerous new friends and became called Lenny. When the senior center closed during covid, Lenore could be found hosting the ladies for cards and treats on a Friday afternoon, so people would not loose connection with each other. Lenore became active in Katy working with various ministries such a Childrenʼs Hope Fund, Food & Clothing D r i v e s , T h a n k s g i v i n g p r o j e c t s t o f e e d t h e h o m e l e s s . S h e a l w a y s carried that special touch and charm.
Lenore was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, her parents Rose and Sam Falsetto, her brother Sam and Elenore Falsetto, brother Anthony, half-brothers Chuck, Joe, Mike, half-sister Rose, Brother (Sister)-in laws, Chuck (MaryAnn) Mincic, Lee (Louise) Mincic, John (Rose Marie) Mincic, and Pete Mincic.
She is survived by her son Mike and spouse Cheryl, daughter Joanie and spouse Bud, brother Frank and s p o u s e K a t h y , t h e i r daughters Shauna and Tracy Falsetto, grandchildren Brad and wife Darci Mincic, Shaylynn and husband Dillon Thurston, Ryan Ramser. Great grandchildren Callie, Kenley and Jarrett Mincic, B l a k e l y a n d R e m i J o Thurston. Brother (Sister)-in law Tony (Theresa) Mincic and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday March 18, 2022 3 p.m – 7 p.m at the Comi Chapel. Rosary will be Monday March 21, 2022 at 9:00 at Comi Chapel, followed by Funeral mass at Holy Trinity at 10:00. Interment will follow at the Trinidad Catholic Cemetery
Active pall bearers are grandsons, Brad Mincic, R y a n R a m s e r , D i l l o n Thurston, nephew, Jason Falsetto, Jeremy Dahl and Dylan Hamman. Honorary p a l l b e a r e r s a r e h e r Granddaughters Shaylynn Thurston, Shauna Falsetto and Tracy Falsetto.
