A. Jeffryes Griffiths

Jeff was born on July 24, 1938, to David W. Griffith and Alberta Jeffryes Griffith in Trinidad, Colorado. He graduated from Trinidad High School in 1956. He graduated from University of Denver in 1962 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He became a CPA in 1967 and practiced in the Kansas City area for 49 years. He became a private pilot in 1960, soloing at the same airport as his mother, Stapleton Airport in Denver. He flew and owned numerous airplanes, and had obtained both instrument rating and commercial licenses. Jeff was a founding member of the Kansas Pilotʼs Association, a member of the United States Pilotʼs Association and others. He was a member of the Civil Air Patrol for over 50 years. He flew as a pilot for the Civil Air Patrol and earned the rank of Major and was a Mission Coordinator. He enjoyed traveling in his airplanes. He and Judy completed a bucket list goal of seeing all 50 State Capitol Buildings. He was an “original” member of the Stonewall Community Church and remained active.
