Robert “Bob” Dale Lucas Jr. passed away peacefully in his home March 12, 2023. Bob was born January 21,1951 to Aleta “Sis” Lucas and Robert Lucas Sr. in Lamar, Colorado. Bob moved to Valdez, Colorado when he was 3 years old.

Bob graduated from Primero High School 1969 and then attended Wyoming Technical Institute. Later earned his Associate from Trinidad State Junior College. Bob is preceded in death by his dad Robert “Bob” Lucas Sr., nephew Joshua Lucas, his sister Norma (John) Howlett, and his brother Tom Lucas, Mother in law Jean Wold and sister in law Ginger Gentry.

Bob is survived by his wife of 50 years, Kathy Lucas, Children: Melissa (Shawn) Cooper of Yukon, Oklahoma, Adam (Sandy)Lucas of Valdez, Colorado Granddaughters: Brittany Cooper and Kelly Rivas, mother “Sis” Lucas of Trinidad, Colorado, siblings: Fred Lucas, Lori Lucas, Larry (Tammy) Lucas, Cindy (Larry) Wold and many nephews, nieces, great nieces, and nephews.

Memorial held at Comi Funeral Home Tuesday March 21, 2023 at 1:00 pm. Those who want to remember Bob may donate to Fisher Peak Soup Kitchen, 300-398, Church Street, Trinidad, Colorado 81082.
