Adeline Maniscalco

Adeline Maniscalco, age 85, passed away at the Trinidad Inn Nursing Home on October 20, 2022. She was born on July 3, 1937, in Delagua, Colorado, to Tony and Rose (Caputo) Bragazzi. She graduated from Trinidad High School in 1955. Adeline started working at the local phone company as an operator along with two of her sisters. She then went on to work at the local movie theatre (The Rialto) and finally Adeline worked for Brocato Cleaners before becoming a stay-at-home mom.

On October 26, 1957, Adeline was united in marriage to the love of her life, Philip A. Maniscalco at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Trinidad, Colorado. They would have shared their 65th Wedding Anniversary on October 26, 2022. Adeline loved to bowl and bowled many years before having to quit. She also loved to gamble, dance, cook and bake. She always cooked big family dinner every Sunday for her two children and their families. Adeline and Phil would go on many gambling trips and dance for hours at the Elkʼs Lodge.

Adeline is preceded in death by her parents, Tony and Rose (Caputo) Bragazzi, her brothers, Columbus Bragazzi, Tony Bragazzi, Guido Bragazzi, and Frankie Bragazzi as well as her sisters, Marie Petrucci, Erma Furia, and Frances Bragazzi. Mother and father-in-law Sam and Mary (Valenti) Maniscalco. Brothers-in-law Nick Furia, Fred Petrucci and sisters-in-law Netti and Mary. Son-in-law, Doug Mangino. Great-grandson, Mason Mangino.

Survivors are husband Philip Maniscalco, daughter Sharon Mangino, son Gerald (Tonine) Maniscalco all of Trinidad, Colorado, grandchildren, Brandon (Thea) Mangino-Pueblo, Colorado, Jeremy Mangino – Trinidad, Colorado, and Brandi Maniscalco – Pueblo, Colorado, Tyler Maniscalco – Trinidad, Colorado. Greatgrandson, Mario Mangino – Pueblo, Colorado. Sisters-inlaw Pauline Bragazzi and Raffie Bragazzi, Brother-inlaw Sam (JoAnn) Maniscalco and numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 27, 2022 from 3:00PM-7:00PM at the Comi Funeral Home Chapel. Rosary will be Friday, October 28, 2022 at 9:00AM at the Comi Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated, Friday, October 28, 2022 at 10:00AM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

Active Pallbearers are Brandon Mangino, Jeremy Mangino, Tyler Maniscalco, Chris Furia, Doug Furia and Joey Tortorice.
