To everyone who has supported us following the death of our Mother Evangeline “Vangie” Garcia, we would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation. Your many acts of kindness continue to be a great comfort to us in our time of sorrow.

To all who sent cards, food, money and flowers your kind expression of sympathy and friendship will remain in our memories.

To the pall bearers Raul Velarde, Tony Eppler, Salvey Velarde, Diego duran, Ty Winter and Richard Compton thank you so much for carrying Mama to her final resting place.

To her Dr’s. Douglas McFarland and Laurence Berarducci for the loving care and professionalism for Mama and also to Sangre De Cristo Community Cares and their wonderful nurses. Mama truly appreciated being able to be cared-for at home.

Special thank you to her Angels, her caregivers, Raul Velarde, Betty Ramirez and Janine Cordova. We as a family could not have asked for any better people to truly love and care for Mama and she loved you all so much. There is a special place in Heaven for you all.

To Kitsy Winter and her wonderful staff at Comi funeral home for all the loving care given Mama during such a difficult time. It’s hard enough to lose a loved one but the care shown by Kitsy and her staff is above and beyond and we as a community are so lucky to have them to care for the ones we love.
