I attended a dress rehearsal of “It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play,” produced by Main Street Live, last Thursday with limited expectations. First, the original “It’s a Wonderful Life” is an American classic.

The eyes must’ve been two feet tall. And they were looking right at you.

The rodeo, organized by the TRA and held at the Las Animas County Fairgrounds, saw nearly 1,000 attendees between Sunday and Monday, according to organizers, with some 800 tickets purchased.

Benjamin Mandile Reporter The Chronicle-News Murder at the Orient Express, a who-dun-it play being performed at a local theatre, saw rave reviews during its first weekend of shows and will be closing this weekend after another three-day run. The who-dun-it production, originally written by Chicago playwright Craig Sodaro, boasts a similar name to Agatha Christi’s 1934 Murder on the Orient Express, but tells a different story.
