
Caring, remembrances, fun at Relay for Life
On Saturday, Aug. 6 ROAR for Relay for Life held their annual Relay for Life event at Central Park in Trinidad. The event raised over $14,000 to fund cancer research and patient care programs. Relay For Life is a community-based fundraising event for the American Cancer Society. Participants took part in games and contests like the ones pictured above, a Survivor Dinner the Luminaria Ceremony (pictured at right) and a closing ceremony. Above participant took part in a bubble gum contest with Malheim Romero in first place Brody Doherty in second place and Michael Richardson in third.
