Fourth of July DUI enforcement begins

The Colorado Department of Transportation will support Colorado State Patrol and 51 local law enforcement agencies for The Heat Is On Fourth of July Weekend DUI enforcement period from July 2 to 7. Drivers may see saturation patrols, sobriety checkpoints and additional law enforcement officers on duty during the six-day enforcement period.

FRPR District treasurer provides Las Animas County rail update, including full member support for train stop in Trinidad, more 

Luis Lopez II, treasurer for Front Range Passenger Rail District and former Las Animas County commissioner, took to the Court House Tuesday, June 17, to give his former contemporaries an update on the FRPR, which included future plans, district thought processes and support for a trains stop in Trinidad and the possibility of a tax initiative ballot measure to support rail funding, which he predicted could be in five years.
