City, contractor reduce Purgatoire River project scope in short term

Trinidad will focus on developing a smaller section of the Purgatoire River as its contractor develops conceptual plans for suggested improvements, the city and its contractor announced this month. While the visioning plan, a project that started receiving public input in 2021, still encompasses the original scope of Interstate 25 to the Linden Street Bridge, The Greenway Foundation and the Architerra Group (the city’s two contractors for the project), will focus the conceptual design plans in the short term from Interstate 25 to the Commercial Street Bridge, Jeff Shoemaker, former executive director of The Greenway Foundation said.
