This year will be the 19th year that First National Bank in Trinidad has sponsored an annual Thanksgiving food drive. Over the past 18 years, countless families have received a Thanksgiving surprise on the Sunday before Thanksgiving when volunteers deliver food baskets and gift certificates for groceries and dining out at local restaurants.
Residents and tourists visiting Fishers Peak State Park have increased access to the 19,200-acre park with the opening of 11 miles of newly built trail for hiking and mountain biking.
