Trinidad leadership said a physical fight in Trinidad City Hall last month between two department heads does not represent the culture of city hall and that the employees involved were disciplined. Third Judicial District seeking volunteer mediators to help out with landlord-tenant disputes, small claim cases outside court

Courts in Las Animas and Huerfano Counties are seeking volunteer mediators to offer mediation in landlord-tenant disputes and small claim cases to possibly resolve cases outside the courtroom. Volunteer mediators will work directly with individuals who are not represented by attorneys and who are involved in a landlordtenant dispute or small claims case in the civil court system in Las Animas and Huerfano counties.
