New Mexico, Texas execute memorandum of agreement governing development of interstate oil, gas wells between the 2 states

SANTA FE, NM – The Oil Conservation Division of the New Mexico Energy, Minerals, and Natural Resources Department and the Texas Railroad Commission recently finalized a Memorandum of Agreement governing the development, operation, and maintenance of oil and gas wells that cross the border between New Mexico and Texas and produce minerals from each state using the same wellbore.

Trinidad’s Temple Aaron’s National Historic Landmark designation nearly complete as local congregation celebrates Jewish New Year

Members of Temple Aaron in the Southern Colorado city of Trinidad are marking a milestone as Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, completes another celebration. The historic 1889 temple is on its way to becoming a National Historic Landmark.

Gov. Polis kicks off Colorado’s 19th annual Cybersecurity Awareness Month

DENVER — Governor Jared Polis kicked off Colorado’s celebration of the 19th annual national Cybersecurity Awareness Month by issuing a proclamation and video message encouraging all Coloradans to practice good cyber habits in order to be safe and secure online, whether on a desktop computer or mobile device. Since the pandemic began, the FBI has reported a 300% increase in cybercrimes, 95% of which were caused by human error.

Nursing home sells to unnamed group for undisclosed amount in Trinidad

A Trinidad nursing home has been rebranded for the third time in its existence after being sold to an unnamed management group. Trinidad Inn Nursing Home, a 116-bed subacute and skilled-nursing facility located at 409 Benedicta Avenue in Trinidad, has been bought by an unnamed regional ownership team and has been renamed Trinidad Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center.
