On Apr. 11, Trinidad State College honored its legacy with a centennial Founder’s Day celebration while also taking a proverbial step into the next century with a ribbon cutting for the newly renovated Samuel Freudenthal Memorial Library.

Raton pass reduced to one lane during construction of roadway rehabilitation project

The New Mexico Department of Transportation and contractor Fisher Sand and Gravel informed The Chronicle-News that construction in Raton on I-25 would resume between mileposts 454 and 460, reducing the north and southbound lanes to one between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., beginning Monday, Apr. 14 through Friday, Apr. 18.
