Trinidad City Council approves water tank upgrade purported to last up to a century, reviews golf course proposal

The Trinidad City Council held a special meeting on Monday, Apr. 7, approving upgrades to the city’s water storage system with permanent piping estimated to last 80-100 years and a work session reviewing future management options for the golf course.

On Apr. 1, during its regular meeting, The Trinidad City Council faced scrutiny as residents took to City Hall to voice concerns over transparency in city projects, the handling of homelessness and a controversial essay displayed in the police training room for the past seven years.
