Wayward drivers trying to navigate Trinidad streets devoid of lane and directional markings will soon get a break. It’s going on two years since the lines were repainted on Main Street and other well-traveled roads, and complaints are adding up. But the city says help is on the way.

A fire was first sparked on Friday at the Pinon Canyon Maneuver site near Model and has grown to 1,608 acres according to estimates. Dubbed the “Black Hills” wildfire, officials think the fire was started around 6 p.m.
