A long-serving member of the San Isabel Electric Board of Directors has announced his retirement. After 20 years, Joseph Costa, a Weston resident, resigned from the board on April 22.

Segundo’s Kennedy Senior Citizen Center invites area residents to become members
If you or over 60 years old and living in western Las Animas County, you are invited to become a member of the Kennedy Senior Citizen Center located in Segundo. Men and women meet at noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays to enjoy nutritious meals costing only $2, meeting friends and neighbors, share the latest news and at times play games. Many of our members live alone so spending time at the center is an important part of their lives. We would welcome new members to join our senior center family.

Trinidad Public Works received help from five Trinidad Fire Department personnel Friday, May 27. TFD gave TPW a hand in cleaning N. Commercial Street in preparation for Memorial Day.
