Familiar sights of spring

Doves are a common sight in Trinidad and frequent many area neighborhoods with their presence. Their “cooing” sound can be heard at all times duing the day. According to information found on Wikipedia, doves live on seeds and fruits — with a few insects thrown in for good measure by some species. Pidgeons and doves are basically the same creature with the exception of different colored feathers and a few minor body differences. Thank you, Chip Shirley for sharing your dove photo with us.
