Neighborhood sex offender, Internet predator with multiple victims receives 3 years DOC prison time, 10 years probation under plea agreement

A convicted sex offender will spend the next three years in the Department of Corrections and serve a decade of probation after pleading guilty to two sex offenses this week. Daniel Lee Rivera (22) pled guilty to attempted sexual assault of a child (a class five felony) and internet luring of a child with intent to exploit (a class four felony) under a plea agreement with the Third Judicial District Attorney’s Office.
