In the Mar. 25- 27 Weekend Edition of The Chronicle-News in the story entitled “Man who stabbed victim 13 times in local parking lot sentenced to 8 years in prison” the assertion the court could have sentenced Tyler Ray Oaks to probation under the plea agreement was incorrect. His attorney told the court about wanting to restructure the plea agreement to include a chance at a form of probation, but under the plea agreement he faced between 5 years and 16 years in prison with a prosecutor recommendation of no more than 10 years.

The COVID-19 pandemic impacted stand-up comedy for a time, there is no question about that. As comedy clubs shuttered their doors and people moved meetings online, so did comedians who shifted their acts to accommodate the situation by hosting online comedy shows, just as The Chief Comedy & Bicycle Festival had to do when it shifted its performances outside to Trinidad’s streets last year.
