Trinidad citizen takes to City Hall to suggest city handles unhoused ‘problem’ by enacting ‘The Final Solution’ 

“If you really want to get serious about the problem and get rid of all the undesirables,” citizen Roy Miller said during the Trinidad City Council’s regular meeting Tuesday, Aug. 5. “Back in World War II in Germany, they had it down to a science— ‘The Final Solution.’”

Trinidad rescinds approval of TDS1’s grant request, cites ‘administrative reasons’ following GOCO’s disapproval of application  

During its “unfinished business” portion of the City of Trinidad’s regular meeting on Aug. 5, city officials unanimously voted to rescind the approval of the Trinidad School District No. 1’s GOCO (Great Outdoors Colorado) grant submission on its behalf, following GOCO’s regional manager’s disapproval of the application draft.

County officials reject Trinidad Youth Club’s sales tax ballot measure request, citing concerns over its language   

During a special meeting of the Las Animas County Board of County Commissioners, officials considered a potential sales tax measure for the Trinidad Youth Club, which they ultimately rejected, citing concerns with the proposed ballot language, among other issues.
